Review on Cat & Dogma Women’s Organic Cotton Kimono Robe: Adjustable Sleeves, Tie Closure, One Size Fits Most by Dora Feldstein

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great lightweight robe

I love the softness, style, material and length of this robe. The sleeves are three-quarter length when unbuttoned, so they won't get in the way when you're trying to get things done around the house. Don't worry about having to roll up your sleeves. However, if you like them a little shorter or have shorter arms than me, there is a button on each sleeve to bring them together so they are shorter. The material is soft and organic cotton, so not to love here. I'm 5ft 9" and this is below my knees so I know it might be a full length for shorter people. I like the length for me as I hate when 'short' robes are usually too short for me and I can't bend over without showing what's on me (or not on me!) underneath! Now I gave this 4 stars just because I think it should have pockets on each side. The pocket is on the right side and I never realized I usually put that side in until I got this robe; So I have to consciously remember to tuck in the left side so my pocket is accessible. Also, not sure I like the attached belt (good thing you'll never lose it) as it attaches on one side (which makes one side longer). So if you wear it open, the belt will hang unevenly. My belt doesn't drag on the floor, but if you're smaller it can drag. Because of this, you can't always just wear it open and adjust the strap or take it off if it pulls you. So, a note to the manufacturer; it is possible to make such tricks: pockets on both sides and a sewn belt to either make a detachable belt or fasten it right in the middle.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Obsolete
