I've been using it for 2 months now. I read all the negative reviews before purchasing and still bought it because it was the only model available with all the options I needed. Cheap metal hairpins instead of plastic clips (and they stay in my hair perfectly). Advantage: all clips fit all curlers, so no searching for the right pair. Built-in storage for clips so they don't fall out and take up extra space in the drawer ( Note: You can fit anything but 3 storage clips if you put a few more on the roll bar and two in the top cap). She has a lot of rollers so I can do all my hair at once without waiting for the rollers to heat up (I use all but 3 for my medium thickness and medium length hair). fast (I had no trouble melting anything, although the center rollers do get quite hot to the touch if you leave them on for more than 10 minutes). These rolls are easy to remove, large in the middle, small on the edges, medium in between. Slots are not provided, but they fit well and leave room for maneuver. The only thing I don't like is the split design of the rollers (so they can slide over the metal plate that heats them). Sometimes hair gets stuck in this gap and it is uncomfortable to unravel. I have had 3 other Hot Roller kits and this one best suits my needs. Added some photos so you can see the type of curl. I use all 3 sizes at the same time.
