After reading many reviews (both good and bad), I decided not to stop there and bought a hammock for the window. The instructions are very simple and come with step-by-step pictures to help you assemble. I cleaned the window and used rubbing alcohol as directed and installed the suction cups very easily. Follow step 10 and pay attention to the warning about over-tightening the plastic screw! I rotated it seven times instead of six because the first rotation was the "connection". All my cats took an interest in it as soon as I fixed it on the window. The cat in the photo is very old and tiny. My other cats were huge and one side slipped a bit. I think I didn't get all the air out of my left suction cup. Seems to be holding up now. Will update as I use it. So far this is a great product and I plan on buying a few more soon.
