I bought this product (my first steamer) thinking it would be a handy alternative to ironing at least some items. No, that is not so. The design of the tank is very inconvenient - it constantly spills and leaks, and "spits" (probably like most ships) heavily. Whenever I use it (have done it twice already), water inevitably remains on the floor, so I have to put towels down for each use. It removes creases with many many passes of the steam iron, but I actually think the ironing is much faster and not more difficult/longer to set up the iron and ironing board. The hanger was difficult to assemble (very poor instructions) and of very limited use. Your own hanger will do just as well, and the steamer is difficult to store. A trip is of course out of the question. After all, the idea of using this device to clean or disinfect is just plain stupid. The time duration (number of passes over a small area) makes it unusable for this purpose. The bottom line is to stick with ironing, but if you feel like you need a steamer for clothes that just can't be ironed, use a small, inexpensive hand-held steamer. It holds less water (so you'll need to add water for long vaping), but it should be less bulky and easier to get and use than this and the like.
