I cannot say it runs large because the foot size is right, however there is a LOT of elastic in these. I like how they feel, and how they keep my feet warm, but they are just toooooooo loooooose! They fall down.and scrunch up at my ankles. And after wearing for an hour the rest of the foot gets too loose to where it is too big. If your ankles and feet tend to swell, then these are for you. Not going to send them back, instead will donate to my local charity. I wear a woman's size 9 1/2 shoe, 10 boot. If you wear an 11, these might be just right for you.
