I bought this product because I stopped relaxing my hair in February 2015. After 11 months of washing and twisting weekly, I've decided to crochet the braids as a proprietary style. I used this weekly before installation, wore the braids for 6 weeks and then took the braids out for 2 weeks to prep my hair for the next installation. When I washed my hair after removing the braids, I had no breakage and my hair was easy to detangle. I use this with a plastic cap and a heating pad for 30 minutes and my hair smells and feels great. It's shiny, soft and I would never use anything else for deep conditioning.
