Used this on a 10 week IP camera installation project.

I had to play around with this a bit to figure out which method would work best for my specific installation needs. But he worked well and did his job. Works well with Axis cameras. However, if there is no ONVIF user and password in the camera, the onvif app will show an error. You can get this by clicking on the menu and selecting "Webpage" which will take you to the initial camera configuration. where you can adjust everything. Battery life was great when you disabled PoE between cameras. I never once had a battery drain in any of the 10 hour installation sessions. The Chrome browser needs an update for some of the new Axis cameras, but it's a minor update. I've seen several other reviews of similar products complaining about the battery not charging after a while. You must keep the physical switch on to charge properly. I believe the switch is a battery disconnect switch. So leave it on to charge. The light stays on while charging and turns off when it's done. In general, with about 300 cameras that I have installed, everything has worked perfectly. Another practical feature is the post-installation, if the cameras are in a network with WiFi access, you can use it to connect to the WiFi network and connect all cameras. Although I recommend enabling ONVIF on the cameras to make it much easier.
