Review on 🌑 Maya Occasional Table by Winsome Wood in Black/Metal Finish by Timothy Gonzalez

I like the table very much. Exactly as described. Not thin and has a comfortable weight. Looks the same as in the picture. BUT during assembly, one leg failed to make contact with the bottom ring and literally burst when tightening. It looks like the part where the screw goes was on the leg and wasn't welded properly. Fitting the legs and the rubber washer to the bottom ring was tricky and I didn't realize it had to be tightened until the legs were attached to the base! Argued about return and decided to sleep on it. I decided to return it today and found out last night that my husband cut the box open and threw it in the trash. So I used speaker wire to tie it to the ring (2nd pic) while hoping the seller will see my distress and send me a new leg? The only way to connect the speaker cable is to get on all fours to inspect the table. I have since bought two and the other is still in the box. I'll try to get one but not sure if it's worth it.
