The lights are simple and easy to install under the stainless steel shelves in my kitchen with built in magnets. The problem is that low light is an example of the worst blue cast in the earliest generation of LEDs. They're not bright. They make the food look as unattractive as the food photos on the menus of cheap takeaway restaurants. The real problem is motion detection. One of the four lights I have comes on when approached. The other three require a wildly choreographed hand dance among them, like a drunk pretending to know sign language and trying to yell with it. It's stupid, and after days of trying to make a fool of myself in front of my dog to turn on the light, I gave up. I thought maybe they would get more sensitive over time. I don't know why I expected that. i feel like an idiot However, they are fairly easy to install.
