This is incredible! We can work on our puzzles over time and keep them safe when we're not working on them. We store it vertically behind our piece of furniture so the puzzle and the pieces we are working with don't fall to the ground. We don't leave parts that are sure to fall off. We only leave one layer of pieces on the work mats. The attached image is a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle after a little over a week of sloppy work.
