Cotton blankets are a godsend for sleepers like me. I bought it for my guest bed, not for me. I'm not particularly fond of the basket weave style, but I found it to be the tightest and therefore more tangle resistant. I washed it according to the instructions before use and as anyone who knows cotton would expect there wasn't a lot of lint in the washing machine and lint filter. You may need to be mindful of what you wash next time you boot or even clean. Also, as expected, I experienced a bit of shrinkage. After washing, the size is 81 x 86 inches. Therefore, if dimensions are important to you, you can increase the size. In general, the quality corresponds to this price. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I didn't want anything to fall apart or get stuck easily. This works best as a layering blanket rather than a top blanket as it will shrink but also has quite a bit of pilling. You don't have to wash it as often either. However, if you're going to use it as a top blanket, you might want to go for something more expensive and of higher quality... and more.
