So far, so good! in Repellents & Training Aids

We had a feral cat chasing songbirds at our feeder when we spread the seeds on the side of the seat. I tried a metal trap I bought but after having no luck I looked for intimidation. These stingray rugs have been great so far! They are easily cut with scissors and can be moved to where they need to be. We placed them at hideouts where we saw a cat and also moved one of our Arlo cameras to monitor their effectiveness. We saw the cat at night and walked around the mats on the brick ledge in the mornings and I recently bought another mat to put on the brick to eliminate this path choice. We haven't seen the cat kill birds since we put her to sleep, and we haven't seen the cat walking or sitting on mats, so it doesn't seem like she really likes the tines. Our dogs stepped on him once and didn't repeat the mistake again. Very satisfied. Recommend if you have a similar problem or want to remove a cat or dog from the area. 100% satisfied. Not a single bird has been killed by a wildcat since we put her down. Additionally, we've been seeing the cat less and less on our Arlo cam, and she seems to have lost interest in our yard (knock on wood) by removing her kill sites. My goal was to get the cat to sit in a more visible position so the birds could see the cat and wait until the threat passed before eating. Unfortunately, we saw the cat roaming around so sadly that it will probably find birds or other small animals somewhere else. But at least these throw rugs have brought our garden back to a safe haven.
