I had a problem with dandruff on my beard which I just couldn't get rid of. I use beard oil and beard balm and nothing seems to help or even reduce bear dander from the winter storm like snow. After some research I found out that scalp shampoo is one of the worst things I can do on a beard. I even tried dandruff shampoo and it didn't help at all. So I decided to do a little research and found that beard shampoo is just what I need. Beard shampoo and hair shampoo are completely different animals as they serve different purposes. When I bought this shampoo I was a bit confused about the soap cube I received. This has the added side effect that when used it lasts much longer than liquid shampoo. I also received a magnetic shower mount to keep the pole in the water. If it lands in water, it will dissolve until nothing is left. The same applies if you leave it under running water. After the research was done, I decided to give it a try and see how well it works. In the first few days I didn't notice any difference at all. Anyway, I decided to stick with it for a while as I knew it would take some time to finish. After the fourth day, I noticed that the beard peeling became much less noticeable. A week later everything was gone, there were no traces of scales anywhere. I still apply oil and beard balm over shampoo after showering. I went every other day to wash my beard and the beard still doesn't peel off. It also seems to soften the beard a bit. My wife even noticed a difference in texture after about a week. If you have a beard, buy this thing. You'll thank yourself later.
