The 80 foot length was perfect for a run around my house. I bought 3 sets - I will buy a few more. This kit allows EACH LED to be a different color, making it look like a mixed Christmas garland. Use a dissolve or flash for a real Christmas feeling. Or you can set all the LEDs to be the same color - we set them to orange for Halloween, green for St. Patrick's Day, red for Valentine's Day, etc. The "rope" is VERY thin - almost a thick kite string - so you can't see it. line during the day if you don't look very closely. The LEDs are bright, similar to the incandescent bulbs I used last year. I recommend them over other LED bar options because each color can be displayed on the same row.
