This mug has been marked as microwave and dishwasher safe. I've never put it in the microwave. I used it exactly twice for drinking coffee and put it in the dishwasher to clean it. When I took it off I found the frosting was peeling off the mug. I tried hand washing it to remove the flaking but it kept flaking. Not wanting to swallow the icing, I poured out the mug. This was a huge disappointment and an even bigger waste of money and time.
