I was looking for a mat/mat for my 3 month old who is now rolling over and trying to crawl. I didn't want regular baby foam tiles because I don't think they are soft enough for a baby. I found this rug and decided to try it because of the thickness and material. This rug is great and my kid loves it! He's so comfortable. When he is on his stomach with his head down this blanket offers plenty of padding which is one of the main things I wanted when looking for a blanket for him. Another plus is that this rug is easy to clean. For those who want to get rid of lines/dents/grooves when first opening the vacuum pack, I used a clothes steamer to steam the carpet (to sanitize and get lines/wrinkles). under the carpet). It worked great and I was able to use the mat the same day.
