This bread box is noble and seems to be well made. It's quite high and I have to pull it out from under the cupboards to remove the lid and look in to get the bread. Kitchen cabinets aren't low, they're standard, and my house is only 16 years old. I started baking bread thinking it would come in handy. I also thought this bread bin had some vents in the back to keep the bread from getting moldy, I'm wrong there are no vents and the lid fits snugly. In a preservative way, even this type of bread bin without vents for little air circulation will mold. It's cute but now I'm going to use it for my potted plants. It looks great with herbs too and I can't beat the price. 20 Euros. I can punch some holes in the ground.
