Everything is perfect in this bag. I had high hopes and they all came true. The reviews I read before buying said "stench". It worried me a little, but I took the risk anyway. Luckily there is nothing else besides the usual smell of leather goods. Much joy! :) I decided to show a side-by-side comparison of my Duluth Trading Co portfolio. and a versatile bag (which I love both). These two were really stinky and still are almost 4 years later. This is the skin. Hence the strange smell. The new Floto bag is exactly the same color as I hoped the other two would be and I am very happy that it is exactly as shown in the Revain photos. The leather is very soft and the straps feel sturdy. Super happy with my purchase so far. Thank you Floto!
