They work well except when you reach the bottom of the page where your chin is almost on your chest to be able to read that area. So the 1/2 inch lens might be a bit short for most people, if you don't put them close. at the tip of the nose where they can slip off due to the short temples. I also like that they come in a really sturdy little case with a clip for your pocket.
