Completely unusable mouse and broken mini USB transceiver

The rubber on the scroll wheel turns into a goo that sticks the inside of the mouse and severely affects the use of the scroll wheel. Eats batteries like no other mouse I've ever used. The pointer works fine, and then not. This goes on indefinitely. The mouse has a mind of its own. Do you want to open a Word document? Left click and nothing happens. In the Word document, click Undo option to undo the last two or three actions you made. . . or maybe undo nothing. Are you working on a financial document? You better hope the mouse doesn't delete it by itself. Threw this mouse in the trash today and was about to unplug the included mini USB transceiver from the USB port on my tower case. I couldn't remove the mini transceiver with my fingers, so I went and grabbed it with pliers. I had to pull hard and now I have a damaged and useless USB port on the tower case. Why? Because a cheap mini transceiver has a slot on one side, where the metal notch has not been completely removed, but is pressed diagonally into the mini transceiver. This piece of metal caught on the desktop computer's USB port and damaged it when the mini transceiver was removed. After almost thirty years of computer use, I'm back with a good old reliable wired mouse. So much for progress. LAUGH OUT LOUD
