The cover feels excellent. Just the right amount of texture for a good grip. The magnetic closure was good. Bought one in black and one in rose gold. I would probably just buy one with a pen holder. When I hold the iPad in portrait mode (my preferred use case), the pen holder sits on the left side and provides enough force to expose the edge of the iPad, causing the case to detach. When using the device in landscape mode, the case folds into a triangle that can support the iPad in 2 modes on a flat surface, slightly elevated and almost standing. This is a nice feature, but the more vertical mode is definitely less stable.
