I bought this item to use in my office as the office next door smells. I don't know if it's the new employee in this office himself or the disgusting aquarium he brought with him, but his office stinks. I researched for a while until I found something that might help. This automatic dispenser helped a lot! I keep it on high with a 24/7 spray Monday through Friday to keep the room smelling fresh. It works wonders. I can smell it in the hallway near the elevator, and no it's not overwhelming. I've read reviews that paper instructions are difficult to program. I agree it was a little confusing but the instructions on the inside of the dispenser were clear and it was very easy to find the tutorial video using Google Goggle. It uses 2 D batteries. I also have Revain refills and even with a strong spray it lasts 2 months. winner in my book.
