The medium fit well on my 5"6" 160lb frame. The waistband was not stretchy at all, which I had expected for lounge wear. Instead, it was a thin seam at the top that felt constricting even though it did fit. For anyone looking for ease at the waist, this may not be the best fit. Also, the crotch area was not acceptable to me, though my husband said he didn't notice it. I bought a patterned fabric and it helped extend the V of the crotch out too far for my liking. I often have concerns about tight yoga pants and camel toe/V highlighting, and had not expected this for palazzo pants. On the other hand, at least it did not pillow out over the abdomen like many other wide legged pants I have tried on do. Length was very good and my husband said it looked good on my derrière. The fall from the butt was nice : straight to my feet and no weird thigh wrinkles. Ultimately I did return it because of the cut and fit of crotch and waist, and because I had a 2nd pair of pants to return as well so I could use one bag for both.
