I use it between a tripod and a 3-axis gimbal for vlogging and filming. This top mount is great for using my pistol mic and the fact that they keep the 1/4-20 thread under the bottom mount is great for sticking it on a tripod instead of taking it off this thing and screw it back onto a tripod, it's very useful! Another plus is that it is very convenient! I shoot almost 4-6 hours a day so it's important to make sure I look forward to working with it all the time. Good product guys!
