Not suitable for electroplating.
I'm not sure what scientific applications this would be good for, but it was NOT good for electroforming jewelry. It turned dark turquoise, a crust appeared on top, and I continued to burn. I ordered a mortar from Rio Grande and have had no problems since. I think the concentration is not meant to cover jewelry but would be good for other uses which is why I left it at 3 stars.
