Review on Kaisercolour Perfect Bound Coloring Magical by Amber Perez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A quality publication for creativity, relaxation and inspiration.

Recently, my daughter has been fascinated by all sorts of different coloring books: thematic, general, and now fashionable publications, with the inscription "antistress". They "fly away" with us quickly enough, replacing one another. And so, our next purchase was the book for creativity and inspiration "The Enchanted Forest" by Joanna Basford. Thanks to the hardcover, the edition really looks more like a book than the paperback coloring books we are used to. As soon as the book falls into the hands, immediately embraces a wave of pleasant sensations. Beautiful, tastefully designed cover, high-quality printing, well-drawn details of drawings, dense white pages. The book was printed in the publishing house "Hummingbird", Moscow. The format of the book is non-standard, square. Approximate size vertically and horizontally 25.5x25.5 cm. Offset paper. Now for the filling. Introduction. Ninety-six pages of the publication are filled with interesting, varied and entertaining drawings. With rare exceptions, all drawings are different. Some are on the same page. There are also large ones that take up a whole turn. Since the coloring is positioned for adults, there are many small details and patterns that require care and precision when coloring. And here I want to insert a remark about age. Of course, kids should not buy such a coloring book, but for children from seven years old and older (provided that the child likes to decorate) it is quite an acceptable option. Training of attentiveness, perseverance, coordination is guaranteed. In addition to all of the above, children can show their creative abilities, select the palette and color transitions that they like and seem appropriate in a given situation. Turning the pages of the book, we seem to be transported into a fantasy world, where fairy-tale characters live, familiar animals, but presented in a very original way, there are Japanese motifs, vintage, ornaments. You can admire and be touched by the pictures for a very long time and they do not get bored. Even my favorite gargoyles are here %) I will give examples of drawings that impressed and remembered me the most. The pages are very dense, the drawings do not shine through and do not overlap. What to color. Yes, in fact, whatever you want, perhaps except for paints. My daughter combines felt-tip pens, gel colored pens and pencils. For my personal taste, pencil drawings are the most natural and beautiful, but my daughter still has few of them, she prefers brighter writing objects - felt-tip pens and gel pens. Examples of daughter's creativity. The name of the book "The Enchanted Forest" speaks for itself, on its pages are hidden secrets that you will certainly want to unravel. Who is hiding in the book? Keys to riddles. Summary. I really liked the Enchanted Forest coloring book. A wonderful publication that you can treat yourself to your loved ones or present to people who are fond of such activities. Despite the very high quality edition, the coloring book is affordable, I bought it for 226 rubles. The price is by no means as shocking as the coloring "Forest of Wonders" by Labyrinth-Press. Of course, you can find similar drawings on the Internet and print. But then you will not get the full pleasure of owning such a pleasant coloring book in all respects.
