Put this on a Buick Park Avenue with an RP oil change and the oil is cleaner than my change. The valve cover has been removed and most deposits, including oil, have been removed. This car MAY need another filter and an extra $5,000 quarter, but it's still cheaper and offers much better protection than the regular one. Also the average fuel consumption per gallon shows an increase to 19 versus 17, this is mostly city driving on some highways.
