Advantages:1. Fits perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose. Very comfortable and soft. I'm 5ft 8in, 125lbs and medium height. I have a smaller back and it fits well without a lot of loose fabric around my hips. 2. Leg pockets hold my phone pretty securely while walking/lifting weights. , They are quite deep so they completely cover the phone. I have NOT tried running in them with my phone but due to the stretch of the fabric I wouldn't recommend it unless the shorts are quite snug on your legs (which I don't have). 3. High waist! They will not roll or form a muffin pan. 4. The leg parts don't really bulge during use. First, they are a little longer, it's not very noticeable Cons: Only one! - WASH THEM BEFORE WEARING. I got a navy blue color and the color seeped into my underwear after a workout. my phone case due to friction on the fabric. If you don't want the color to bleed, please wash before first use.
