I have used these on my two babies from birth to around 4-5 months old. After that I use chewing gum/toothbrushes. The disposable nature of these wipes worries me, so I'm no longer using them. I think if I really felt this was a problem I would just use washable wipes. I tried this on my first child but the washcloths are much thicker, nice and thin and don't feel too big for a baby. The only thing that affected the rating was that it was sometimes difficult to pull out a leaf. This annoyed me because since it had to be put in the child's mouth, I didn't want to keep the extra wipes that came out. More waste. I really love them because they teach newborns to clean their mouths. 3 packs will help you get through this phase.
