Review on WellQ Scratcher Cardboard Reversible Scratching by Jaime Thomas

This item looked very valuable. UNTIL YOU OPEN IT! I have no idea why, but the cardboard the scratching posts are made of smells so bad. I remembered the smell that comes out of your wall when a dead mouse hides in it. I know this because it happened to me about 10 years ago and trust me you will NEVER forget that smell. When I removed the plastic wrap, I immediately threw up at the smell. I had to take it outside immediately, spray it with a disinfectant spray and air it ALL DAY! Since it's going to rain, I had to take it home with me. I can still smell him but not as strongly. I don't need my cat to get sick which is causing this smell and I don't need to feel bad again so I will be requesting a return for a full refund. I am extremely disappointed. That would be great because these are large double sided pads. My order is running normally from now on. I can see from other reviews that I am not the only one with this complaint.
