I really like these. The noise cancellation works, we'll work for low-frequency hum like fridges and the like. Not as good for a window air conditioner fan, but taken to a more comfortable level. Very nice sound when you turn off DSEE (99% of people can't hear the difference between a 192kps MP3 and a CD. This setting just flattens and confuses things). You can turn it off in the app. If you like more powerful bass, use the app. Do not turn off the bass EQ manually, use the Clear Bass option - it turns on the bass more accurately and pleasantly). Great headphones at a reasonable price!
