A 20 year old Radio Shack amp in our store shorted out, started smoking and left our offices with a wonderful smell of burnt electronics for about a day. So pretty! It's amazing this thing lasted so long, but finally the day came that we replaced it. We weren't looking for something incredibly powerful or high-fidelity. We just needed something to power the four Radio Shack 8 ohm PA horns we always had. This 40w Pyle amp did a great job. Installation was quick and easy and the performance is way better than our old amp. The unit is compact (less than half the size of our old PA amp) and significantly more powerful. No one else can claim they "didn't hear the paging" :) There aren't many bells and whistles in this amp, but it's exactly what we wanted. This is a great product at a great price. Shut up and go.
