I have terribly weak ankles that buckle easily. The way I am. A few years ago I sprained my left ankle badly and the doctor told me I would sprain again. Shin splints are always a big challenge that makes walking very, very painful. I started the Couch to 5K app because I am determined to overcome the difficulties of running and have had constant pain in the insides of my ankles and legs when running on a treadmill. I loved these and these wraps were AMAZING! I feel so much support and after running with them for a few weeks (3 times a week) I no longer feel the throbbing pain I felt before. They are very helpful and worth every penny. It took a little time to find the perfect attachment, placement, etc. A bit of trial and error. I once pulled them too tight while running and my leg got numb so be careful with that. IMPORTANT NOTE: I would not recommend wearing them barefoot like in the photo. I did it for the first time and they gave me blisters very quickly. Be sure to wear longer socks that cover your ankles and wear suspenders over your socks. This way you will feel much more comfortable!
