I have a US Cutter Laserpoint II vinyl cutter and I'm having trouble getting USB to work with my thumb drive on my 2019 MacBook Pro running Big Sur. This cable changed everything. None of the cables worked through the USB dongle and I tried 5 different USB B to USB A cables on this USB C hub. Too bad nothing worked. I needed a direct link. Also, I needed to download FDTI drivers that would work with Big Sur. Those listed on the USCutters support site are out of date and will not install on a newer operating system. Even with the new drivers, not all of the cables going to the hub/dongle worked for me. Long story short, it worked on a very tricky old vinyl cutter that's very picky about the cable it uses.
