Review on 🎧 VOHECHS Triple Driver In-Ear Earphones - High Resolution Headphones with Bass-driven Sound, MEMS Microphone, In-line Remote - Enhanced High Fidelity for Smartphones, PC, Tablet by Leslie Broussard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Potentially long lifespan due to interchangeable parts, good soundstage

A lot of in-ear headphones broke due to prolonged use, usually a part broke and I had to throw it all away because I wasn't able to wear it repair . This headphone offers a good level of modularity using the MMCX standard where many components are available so if a cable breaks you can easily replace it. Although the earbud detaches from the cable, it is secure enough that it cannot be easily detached. As well as various replacement ear tips, there are also some useful extension cords and a mic/speaker splitter cable for using the mic on a computer without a combo jack. The sound quality of the microphone is quite good. Mic quality is decent enough, about the same as my $10 JVC Gumy Plus wired headphones. Compared to the cheaper JVC gummies, the sound quality is a little better - a little clearer/less blurry, although it's also harsher with a bit more hiss. Despite the higher impedance (32 ohms compared to 16 ohms on my JVC Gumy Plus), music sounds louder at the same volume setting, probably for this reason. The separation/soundstage is noticeable and seems a bit less cohesive. Both headphones are capable of producing fairly powerful bass, but here bass doesn't have as much of an impact on higher noise, which is the goal of several drivers. However, the quality falls behind completely compared to my Superlux HD668B headphones. It's an unfair comparison - while the Superlux are cheaper, they're also full-size open-back headphones that are the ultimate king of audio quality - but they're still worth a mention if you happen to buy IEMs and open-backs Headphones. VOHECHS is a gradual climb up the price ladder and a normal price. So if you want headphones with good separation and better than entry-level clarity, while still offering modularity without easily falling apart, then this is a decent option.
