When I first opened it up I thought it was on even though it wasn't plugged in just by the way the lens bounces off the glass what appeared like an optical illusion. Fall, I love how I can highlight items in my home so they stand out with a sunset-like image. That. (I guess I could install it upside down and attach it to the bottom of my kitchen cabinets, but I was too lazy.) I then tried it next to a terrarium, which also looked nice. But this lizard already has more than enough lights. ;-) In the end I decided to use it with my sunset picture and put a light on the table below. I thought it was cool how the bottom part creates a sunset gradient effect on the sunset image. This works fine for my needs.
