Great set of lights. Easy to install and use

I bought these to brighten and improve the look of our kitchen. They were well priced, they have a remote control that lets you choose from all sorts of colors and brightness levels, and they were actually pretty easy to install. We chose to install them under cabinets in front of all of our kitchen appliances on one side of our sink. We have a couple of cabinets on the other side, but the cords aren't long enough to go through the sink, so we're putting them all to one side. First I drilled a hole in the bottom of the closet just above the outlet I wanted to plug into. I made the hole a little bigger than needed to put the plug in so I can take out the IR receiver. I then attached the power supply (which connects to the four lighting wires) where I wanted it in this cabinet on the back wall and also tied an extra power cord and attached it to the back wall. I then drilled the whole hole so 3 of my cords would go to the next closet as my 3 lights would need to be under that closet. Right next to where I wanted each light I drilled a hole in my closet so the cable could be routed mostly inside closets (with one exception when I had a lazy Susan to reach under). I used the included 3M velcro stickers to place each lamp in the desired location under the cabinet. (Screws are also included to hold the lamps in place.) I routed all the wires back to the power supply in the closet, attached them to spots I wasn't using on the closet walls, and plugged them in. I took the remote control and started playing. with flowers. It was very easy, the hardest part was drilling the holes and running the cables. The lamps provide a pleasant ambient light that works well as a night light when the kitchen lights are off, or as a lift light when other kitchen lights are on. Pros: Easy to use installation, mains powered so no battery changes required, good choice of colors, everything you need for installation is included (except a drill which you may not need). Cons: The power plug takes up space in the outlet (would be nice to have a USB power cord that plugs into a possible USB outlet)

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
