Definitely worth $

Bought as an Arca Swiss plate for my Canon C70. The position of the screws makes it quite awkward to attach the C70 to objects. However, this plate allows me to put the SmallRig Arca Swill quick release plate on my tripods and the suction cup just slides in and out with no problem. Also works on my Peak Design travel tripod. Happy with this purchase.
