The case is very strong and comfortable to hold. I used to buy this type for my other phones and it always made me feel like I didn't have to worry. I don't usually drop my phones, but when I do they just bounce off. There is a downside, but it can be fixed. The included plastic protective film can be annoying. This is a fingerprint magnet with a rainbow effect that sometimes gets dusty. If that doesn't bother you then it's not a problem as it doesn't dull the touchscreen's response. If it's driving you crazy you just have to remove it (it will take a little while to remove all the glue from the edges, I think with the right solvent it will come off right away) and leave the screen bare or use a tempered glass -Screen protector that does not interfere with the body. Edit: 6/17/19 - Removing the plastic screen protector was a huge pain in my back. It took a while but I managed to get everything off. (It was easier with another model a year ago, but now everything seals tight.) I went for a surprisingly good and easy-to-install foil instead of tempered glass, and now everything is fine. No more rainbows, glare and fingerprints, hooray!
