Review on 🎧 AFTERSHOKZ Aeropex Open-Ear Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones: IP67 Rated and Vibrant Blue Eclipse Design by Amber Byrd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really liked the Trekz Titanium and I like these even more!

Some advantages over Trekz Titanium: - I think the "tickle/vibration" factor is much better - The sound quality could be a bit better - They come with a small carrying case - they're out flexible rubber so not sure but it's better than nothing (the frame of my Trekz Titanium broke floating in my backpack - very easy to charge with the magnetic charger - didn't really think it would make a big difference to me but it is much nicer to be able to just snap a magnet into place, rather than fiddling with a tiny charging cover and tiny micro-USB plug - and since it comes with two chargers I can still have one at work and one at home - Presumably you can triple-tap the multi-function button to rewind, but I can't get it to work (maybe I'm not fast-pressing ge enough about). listen) when I press a button, and I don't think there's a way to change this - when paired to my phone and computer, they keep beeping and disconnect/reconnect to my phone when I'm with talking to the computer (I always have to turn off BT on my phone to avoid this) - No beep when activating Siri - you just have to hold the button and guess! Excerpt from my Titanium review - same applies to them: they're great for cycling or really anywhere you want to hear the world around you - they get loud enough to hear through traffic. And if you want to block out the world, just use the included earbuds and you can hear those things perfectly. I love them for listening to audio books or even connecting to a computer for a conference call at work. I also enjoyed using these, the included earbuds and the white noise app to recently drown out my snoring friend in the hotel room! Pros: - Loud enough to listen anywhere - Plug in earbuds - Sound is great for entertainment content and decent for music if you're not picky (I'd say slightly better than phone speaker quality) - The microphone on the device works great for phone calls - Multifunction button can be held down to activate Siri on iPhone (press to play/pause/answer/hang up, double tap to skip tracks) - Volume buttons (I thought all BT headphones had them, but I don't think so) - Connect multiple devices at the same time - I didn't think you could, but a year later I just found the following trick - I think the battery life is good. I have never followed up but I think the advertised 6 hours might be correct. They alert you when there is about 10-20 minutes left (better than my old ones which only alerted after about 1 minute) - Good range in my opinion (20-30ft) but not as good as the other pair, the I have cons (although I don't consider them cons) - They can tickle a little at high volume, but it's not very noticeable when you're in a situation where you need them loud - A bit uncomfortable with glasses , but I have no problems until I put them on in front of my sunglasses. To connect two devices at the same time: (Please note that you cannot hear both devices at the same time, but the headphones will automatically switch to the device that is transmitting the sound.) 1. Start with the headphones turned off.2. Enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the Volume + button for 5-7 seconds until the device displays "Pairing".3. Press and hold the multifunction button and the volume button + for 2-3 seconds. The device will say "Multipoint Enabled".4. Connect the first device. The device will say "Connected".5. Turn off the headphones.6. Re-enter pairing mode by pressing and holding Volume + for 5-7 seconds.7. Connect the second device. The device says "Device 2 connected".
