I've wanted this wand for months! I swear I saw ads every time I opened Facebook or Instagram. I love the looks and to be honest it's even more beautiful in real life. It's so smooth! I love rose gold with black and swivel cord. It was also packaged very nicely. I couldn't wait to try it! Unfortunately I'm not impressed. I spent hours getting this thing to work. I thought I might be doing something wrong so I watched YouTube videos to make sure I was using the correct technique. As far as I can tell, it was me. It seems pretty reliable to be honest. You just twist and pull down - there really isn't much room for user error. I've tried large strands of hair and smaller strands of hair. I've tried it on clean, day-old hair and used styling products with no noticeable difference. I have to run the tool over the same area multiple times to see a ripple or wave even at the highest temperature. I would like to add that I have very long and thick hair. That's about halfway down my back. All the videos I found show people with much shorter hair. The longest I saw was about shoulder length. The length of my hair might be an issue, but I have no problem curling it with other tools, so I'm not sure if that's the issue. Unfortunately I will be returning this curling iron.
