Review on πŸ”₯ Lincoln Electric Weld Pak K2515-1 by Curtis Donjuan

It's a bang for the price.

This welder isn't the fanciest, but it's an excellent welder in its price range. It is excellent for fabricating and welding many things. I use it for cars (4x4's and racers) and it works for any type of steel you find out there. Pros: Consistency (use Lincoln wire for this only). This gives you good, stable, clean welds. The ignition voltage is large, it is very easy to ignite with it. The floor clamp is durable. The wire feed works well. Good speed control. I haven't had any problems with snagging or bird nesting. Easily switchable between MIG and cored wire. Good guide. Sufficient duty cycle for the hobbyist. It works great but I don't think you could kick it hard or step on it. Not a work cycle for professionals. I wasn't expecting you to be able to use it to craft or assemble trailers all day. I had a broken voltage regulator, it seemed flimsy. The second one isn't broken yet, but I'm a little suspicious. It's heavy, don't expect portability. There is no option 110. Some welders of this class allow you to choose between 110 with less current and 230, but not with this one. The ground wire could be a bit thicker. That's enough of course, but my other welding machines have more. Overall this is excellent value for money. I love using it.
