Caveat: Works great with a lower cost, but the jack is not very reliable and comes out easily.

Bought for Razer Blade 14. Native charger "died", the laptop charged but only outside of games. Under heavy loads, the charger would not charge or stay charged (which was a sign that it was just not performing properly anymore). This charger quickly solved that problem. At a much lower price than buying the original charger, my laptop is always fully charged, even while gaming. Brilliant. And to my surprise, it's actually smaller than I expected, so it's not a terrible 'rock' to carry around. The blue LED on it bothers me so I sealed it with tape and solved the problem. However, there are two problems with this charger. The first thing that can be a problem is the jack not staying in place. As the jack rotates (both directions) it will begin to slide out. With enough "movement" it falls off completely. If I move my laptop too much, it falls out. When I pull on the charger (like dragging it across the floor) the jack slips out. This has never happened with the original (or any other charger in my experience) and is a cause for concern. So much so that I have to try replacing this one or try another brand. The second issue is that the design is a little clunky. The side from the charger to the laptop is "short" with the "bulky" end just in front of the outlet. Not sure if it was necessary, but it creates an odd experience. Also, the opposite end (from the charger to the wall) uses the same three-pronged connector as the original charger, but it's too long a cable. If we look at the original charger, the cord is longer at the laptop end and short at the outlet. This charger is essentially the complete opposite in design. This can be attributed to personal preference, so I won't call it "bad" in that regard. Just be aware if you like the original design of the charger. So, in short: Yes, it works, at a lower price than the original. However, the jack extends too easily, which makes it a bit awkward for me to use it for long periods of time.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Sad device
