Three advantages of this product: It can be soaked in hot water and the shaving cream stays warm. I shave once in the direction of hair growth and once against hair growth and after 5 minutes it is still very warm. The material and the grooves inside the bowl make frothing easy and fast. It's big enough that the cream doesn't spill over and small enough that it can be held in the hand without straining the muscles. It's very easy to clean. Rinse with warm water and wipe dry and it will be completely dry in minutes. Don't worry about mold or anything else growing on soggy rocks.
