Review on KAVU Womens Rope Sling Purple Women's Handbags & Wallets and Crossbody Bags by Dee Parson

We've taken these waterproof KAVU bags across Asia and they've been great for day trips. We used them as "everyday bags" that could hold anything from larger items like raincoats and water bottles to smaller items like passports, chargers, sunglasses, band-aids and lip balm. We took them out several times a day in all weathers and the contents were always in good condition. The versatile style of the sling allows it to be worn on either shoulder, although some members of my family have found it more comfortable on one side; but I carried it easily both ways. Also, in crowded places like subways or lines, when entering shops or museums that restrict backpacks, or when we wanted to bring our bag to the front to avoid hitting anyone, or to better protect zipped hotspots, it was so easy to slide the bag under one hand or completely in front of you. We also found the bag to last longer because we wanted to carry reusable large water bottles that many everyday bags don't fit. This bag may not be suitable for the security conscious traveler as the zippers are not hidden or lockable, but that wasn't a problem for us and we loved these bags. The large plastic clip on the rope strap also allowed for easy on and off without having to go overhead, although it could be cumbersome otherwise and we were able to use it to attach other bags (e.g. groceries) to the rope. plastic clip and still walk without the help of your hands. We're from Seattle and we love supporting the local company that makes these amazing bags. My only improvement is adding a small loop to the top of the bag where it meets the rope. We figured a small loop would allow us to easily hang the bag on door or wall hooks, as well as hang a pair of sunglasses or tie a bandana. we used bandanas as cool rags and small towels on our travels. Anyway we tied them to the top of the bag but a little loop would have been nice. I highly recommend this bag. Whilst not being pickpocket proof which would be a definite improvement and set it apart from many other travel class everyday bags, it has many features and we will continue to use these bags as everyday bags alongside the fun and stylish travel bags.
