Review on Vintage Embossed Jeans Belt with Snap-On Studs by Pamela Smith

Disappointed. Inside is a large stamp that reads "Real Bonded Leather" (right next to the large "Made in China" stamp). Bonded leather is made by grinding small pieces of leather, chemically "gluing" them together, and then gluing them to a nylon backing. This band looks and feels rubbery like it's made out of flexible plastic. Too bad because it's a unique and interesting design. It looks great from afar, but up close it looks like a cheap Halloween costume. Two days later, the buckle visibly bit into the skin; That's the kind of wear and tear you expect after a year or so. I feel like an idiot for buying this belt. Do yourself a favor and don't repeat the same mistake.
