Construction is a plastic panel (probably) with some contour sewn into a strong fabric, with elastic straps on either side and Velcro to attach one side to the other. This is a relatively flat piece of fabric that you wrap around your wrist and secure with Velcro. This is already an improvement over wrist braces that support from above and below and braces that have strap guide holes. Because it lacks this structure, it's almost impossible to put it on and feel right. This doesn't seem to take into account the fact that the thumb extends the area needed at the top of the brace, which means you'll never be able to comfortably pull on the center strap as the straps at the top and bottom eliminate any kinks you may have when tightening. The casting of the plate itself isn't up to scratch either. My glove size is large or extra large, and my current corset size is large, but this large seemed two sizes larger than on my hand. Not uncomfortable in the slightest, combined with the fact that I couldn't get good pressure through the elastic and velcro means this bandage is a lot more trouble than it's worth. It will stay in my travel bag as a spare until I buy another replacement.
