These rolls are perfect! I really wanted thermal rolls with velcro but they are hard to find in large sizes. 55mm is perfect for volume and waves and is very comfortable. The clips help them stay in your hair but you don't have to use all the clips as the hold is very good. I will buy a second set to style all my hair. I would recommend using these when your hair is almost completely dry and then using the blow dryer attachment to focus on each roller for a few seconds. "Curl" occurs when the hair begins to cool. My second recommendation is to wear the roller for as long as possible to get maximum volume.
