Exactly what we were looking for - a budget stool with storage space and reversible seat cushion/tray. Luckily, unlike others, ours was delivered undamaged; my condolences to her. Ours was received undamaged and we couldn't be happier. Of course there are better options if you're willing to spend the money, but we didn't need anything fancy. If faux leather and cheap wood aren't your thing, then this ottoman isn't for you. We've only had this ottoman for about 2 months and we're very careful about what we put on the side of the tray (wood) so we haven't noticed any chips/scratches/damage to the surface. We'll see how long it lasts, but for now it's holding up very well. We mainly use it as a footstool (pillow up) or mini dining/drinking table (tray up). I only weigh about 150 pounds and the ottoman felt sturdy when I sat on it. I do not know the weight limit, but it seemed to me that I would not violate it at all. Hope this review helped.
