My husband has carpal tunnel and plays a lot of pickleball. He needed support that wasn't real but would give some support. This wrist brace got the job done with a few modifications. It's thin and not bulky like most braces. There's plenty of room for your thumb, which annoyed some other braces because they were too tight. The Velcro around his wrist wasn't necessary for the support he needed, so he took it off. He measured his wrist above the bone and it was just over 7 inches. At the table he should have gotten an average, but he got a big one. I think XL fits too. forearm, so he made a small incision to loosen the band a bit. Really likes the brace but would probably try XL. Be very careful about the size when ordering. I would suggest taking a size up, if it doesn't fit send it back and go up the size even more. 4 stars.
